Injustice: When Evil Imagination Becomes Reality

Downtown Portland At NightLately I’ve been taking Jeff Goins’ writing class, TribeWriters and one of the assignments was to stand up for a cause and pick a fight.  I decided to use this article I wrote last year and rewrite and edit it.  I figured I might as well share it here on the blog. 

I normally tell people to read and enjoy, but this is hardly an enjoyable topic to read about.  But if it makes some sort of difference I’ll do what I can.

And so we stared in somber silence in the auditorium as onscreen stories and images shocked and shattered our comfortable world.

Judge Not

Chinook Winds Breakfast

Colossal fatty breakfast at Chinook Winds. Are you judging me? :-)

Ever see those bumperstickers that say things like, “Lord, please save me from your followers?”  Not nice I know.  Many accuse Christians of being judgmental, and we have to admit some are.  But this could also be applied to bodybuilders, environmentalists, or classical musicians.
